My Brother's Keeper of Genesee County cares for hundreds of homeless men who might otherwise weather a dangerous night alone. Exhausted, many homeless men spend so much time worrying about the basics of survival that they can’t find a way out of their own homelessness.
You Can Help:
You can give Hope to an otherwise hopeless situation.
Helping Homeless Men:
My Brother's Keeper assists unaccompanied adult men experiencing homelessness in the Genesee County area by:
- Providing safe emergency shelter and meeting basic needs
- Addressing barriers of homelessness and self-sufficiency
- Helping guests obtain and maintain more appropriate housing
My Brother's Keeper is a 25-bed facility managed by a professional staff, supported by dedicated volunteers and donors, and focused on meeting the needs of our guests. Founded in 2005 as a shelter for homeless men in Flint, Michigan, it has evolved into a comprehensive service provider that specializes in helping homeless men.
We are an active participant in the Continuum of Care for Genesse County, support the local ten-year plan to end homelessness, and collaborate with various community partners to best serve the needs of our guests.
